Yesterday I went on a little photography mission around Manchester city centre with my good friend Dom. We didn’t have any specific themes in mind when we set off, but the light was pretty awesome with the sun just starting to drop below the horizon. Here are some of the photos I have developed so far, you might notice I have a new found interest in shadows.
I have been really busy recently, what with moving to Manchester and starting a new job. Now things have settled down a bit I have been running through my photos in the pile for development. This is the first in a series of family portraits. I love the way the light falls in this photo, it gives it such a warm relaxed feel.

Here is one of the advantages of living in Manchester. The crowd applauds as the players head on to the pitch at Old Trafford. This was bloody good fun.
Read MoreOnce or twice a year there is the most amazing hoar frost along the River Nene. The weather was stunning with bright sunshine and blue sky so I went out and had some fun in the snow.
